How Credits Work

On FindRentalNow, you use credits to unlock rental inquiry leads. This page explains what credits are, how to get them, and how they are used.

What are credits?

Credits are a usage license on our Platform. They are not a physical or standalone product. One credit (or more, depending on the lead's pricing tier) is consumed each time you unlock one lead—that is, when you gain access to that lead's contact and preference information (e.g. name, email, phone, rental criteria).

How do I get credits?

You purchase credits in packs from the "Buy credits" section of the Platform. Packs are priced in your local currency (e.g. CAD for Canada) and are paid via our payment providers (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). After a successful payment, the corresponding number of credits is added to your account balance. Only active packs for your country are available for purchase.

How are credits used?

When you browse the marketplace, each lead is shown with a cost in credits. When you choose to unlock a lead, you confirm the purchase; the required number of credits is then deducted from your balance and you receive access to that lead's data. Credits are consumed at the time of unlock and cannot be "returned" for a refund once used. Refunds (if any) are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Simple example

You buy a pack of 200 credits. You see a lead that costs 14 credits. You click to unlock that lead. After confirmation, 14 credits are deducted (balance: 186) and you can view that lead's name, email, phone, and rental preferences. Those 14 credits are used and are not refundable. You can then use your remaining credits to unlock more leads.
